About Us

It all began in 1998 with a move to upstate NY from the coastline of Massachusetts. Our plan was to raise and produce one of a kind yarns and fibers for knitters, weavers and handspinners. Little did we know the adventures that a "farming life" would bring us.
We built our studio/shop on our farm in 2004. Since then we have  built a customer base which has increased every year.
We also carry other local yarns. Many of the yarns in our shop can only be purchased in our shop. Each year we run out of most of our yarns. So, if you see something that you like, you should grab it while you can!

We are open by appointment only. We love visitors, as do our sheep and goats! Please call us to schedule a time that is convenient for both of us.
 We are happy to accomodate appointments...and group outings.

Directions:
Simple Pleasures Farm is located on Chamberlain Mill Rd, directly off Rte 22.  It is approximately 10 miles north of the center of Salem, and south of Granville, N.Y.
Turn onto Chamberlain Mill Rd and travel for about 3 and 1/4 miles.  We are the farm immediately after the Highway Barn, on the same side of the road....call if you need more help.
